Tucan and the Environment: "The overall effect of tourism in Latin America is having a dramatic impact on many of the countries through which we travel. At Tucan, we pride ourselves on our commitment to the environment and our responsibility to the community. This is integral to the way in which we do business, and the high respect we show towards the country and people of Latin America reflects this. At Tucan we believe that we offer our clients an outstanding holiday without compromising safety and by supporting environmental issues. We are also committed to ensuring that the communities in which we travel share in our success and benefit from your visit. Much of the cost of our tours goes back into the areas through which we travel, helping to support both the local people and the environment. We do this by carefully selecting environmentally sensitive local operators who share a mutual respect for the sites you visit. By keeping them well preserved and intact for years to come, other travellers will have the opportunity to enjoy the famous sites, history and culture of the fascinating countries in Latin America."- Tucan Travel
