Amazonas Explorer is one of the most professional
of all the specialist rafting companies operating in Peru. Not only does the
company offer whitewater rafting but it also operates some excellent adventure
expeditions which combine trekking, jungle hikes, mountain biking, rafting and
traditional sightseeing. The company is owner-operated by Paul Cripps from the
UK and Stefan Zumsteg from Switzerland, both now living in Cusco, Peru. Porters
rates of pay and working conditions on the Inca Trail trek are good. Listed

minutes walk from the main Plaza de Armas). If you are coming to Cusco please
bring a couple of second hand clothes, toys, school equipment and drop them off
in our office. We will help distribute the items to people who really need them
