Spanish and Portuguese courses.
Over 20 destinations in Latin America including Cusco. Courses range from 1-4
weeks and include a homestay with a local family.
Flights and Airpasses.
Flights to, from and between all major Latin American destinations, including
regional airpasses and round-the-world tickets.
Responsible
tourism
JLA has evolved carefully through twenty-four years of operating in Latin
America. They still maintain many of the smaller, reliable local contacts that
they established whilst they were a two man band in 1980. All the group tours
that they organize are based on small group size. They use locally owned
accommodation where possible and use public transport or locally owned vehicles
and local drivers. JLA aim to employ local tour leaders and guides where
possible. Their clients are encouraged to support local restaurants and shops.
Tour leaders are trained appropriately with respect to local customs and
protection of the environment.
Andean
Travel Web would like to thank Journey Latin America for their donation of
US$200 towards our Christmas present distribution that took place on 22 December
2003. Christmas gifts, hot chocolate and cake were distributed to over 270
children from the poorest communities in Anta and Calca in the district of
Cusco. (>>
