Overall Rating 6/10 (23 June 2008, Vasoula Antonio, UK)
"My husband & I stayed in the Tambo Viejo for 5 days in May. The room they gave us was very large with a private bathroom and TV. The bed linen was clean but the bathroom was a bit dirty. The hotel is 7 or 8 blocks from the main square (about 20 minute walk) and not located in the best part of town so you have to take a taxi to get to most of the attractions and restaurants which are on the opposite side of the plaza. The best part about the hotel is the nice garden at the back, with several table and sun chairs, a great place to hang out, read a book etc. They also serve breakfast outside in the garden. Although they say that they accept credit cards they said their machine wasn't working so I had to pay in cash. Overall not bad for the price but I'm sure there are better hotels in town.
