However, in order to obtain this discount you will be asked to provide a photocopy of your passport and entrance stamp. A hotel has a restaurant while a hostal doesn't. Apart from that there is very little difference. The prices in this web site are to be used as a guide only. Please check current prices with the hotel when enquiring about room availability. A singe room is known as a "simple", a room with two single beds is known as a "doble" and a room with one large double bed for two people is known as a "matrimonial".
