Description:

Hostal Corihuasi is a nicely restored 18th century colonial house located up on a hill, not far from the Plaza de Armas (Main Square). In Quechua Corihuasi means house (huasi) of gold (cori). Many of the rooms have great views over the city of Cusco below (rooms #01 & #20 have particularly good views although you will have to pay a small surcharge for the panoramic view). The rooms are basic but tastefully decorated and have large windows with plenty of natural light.

There is a communal lounge area with a cosy log fire on cold evenings, a nice place to read a book and relax. Helpful staff. The hostal offers a free airport transfer which is operated by a local tour company - they can arrange city tours and other day trips but you are under no obligation to purchase from them.
