Description:

Family run hostal located in the narrow backstreets of the San Blas district. However unlike many other hotels in this area you can take a taxi right up to the front door making it a safe choice for travellers. The rooms are basic but clean. Most of the rooms have a private bathroom and cable TV which makes them good value for money. Relaxed, unhurried atmosphere. A better rate can often be negotiated for longer stays. Although this is a "hostal familiar" (family-run hostal) there isn't much interaction with the family and the owner speaks only very basic English. As with many of the hostals/hotels in the San Blas district, which is up on a hill overlooking Cusco, a constant water supply is always a problem. There are often periods, particularly in the evening and at night, when there is no water. Hopefully this situation will be resolved soon.
