Description:

San Isidro Labrador is a 3 star hostal situated in Calle Saphi which is just 1 block from the Plaza de Armas. The Tourist Police station is just next door making it a particularly convenient and safe location. The hotel was opened in 1999 and is of colonial style architecture. The hostal is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful although they speak limited English.  "Pleasant, elegant but simple decor" - South American Handbook.

"We took your recommendation and stayed at the Hostal San Isidro. It was a good choice and very homely. The staff made us feel like we were one of the family even though we couldn't speak any Spanish. This is a great little hotel and so convenient for walking to and from the main square. They offered us a free 'mate de coca' when we arrived and stored our bags and valuables safely when we went on the Inka trail. I only wish we could have spent more of our holiday in Cusco as it is a very beautiful city."
