Description:

One of the best budget hostals in Cusco, the Suecia II is located only 2 blocks from the main Plaza de Armas in a safe part of town. The owners are a friendly elderly brother and sister who give the hostal a family atmosphere. The hostal is a beautiful colonial style building with plenty of plants and is very light and spacious.  It's a good meeting place for trekkers looking for companions to go trekking. They serve breakfast from 05:30. There's a notice board. You can leave luggage with good security procedures.

Unfortunately the hostal does not accept reservations by email. Try to phone in advance or just turn up early in the day to get a room.

Overall Rating 8/10 (03 March 2009 Malcolm Barnes)

"Great place to stay and probably the best value in Cusco. 17USD for a double room with private bathroom has to be a bargain!"
