We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. They have a wonderful staff who spoke English and top notch facilities. The service was excellent and the facility was very clean and well kept. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Cusco. We spent 4 nights total, 2 nights before we went to Machu Picchu and then 2 more nights prior to returning to Lima in April 2009. We had no problem leaving some of our luggage behind in their storage room when we spent 2 nights in Aguas Calientes. The price, $50 a night, was well worth the stay. This hotel is located within walking distance to the Plaza de Armas. I would definitely use this hotel again!

"We spent Christmas at the Hotel Arqueologo, I would highly recommend it to anyone, the staff were great, the rooms spacious with plenty of natural light. The restaurant served good food at a reasonable price. If you are looking for  place to relax then this is the hotel for you. They also run a smaller hotel in San Blas"
