Description:
As the name may suggest, this 5-star hotel was once a monastery - the seventeenth century Seminary of San Antonio Abad. Now tastefully converted into a truly beautiful 112 bedroom hotel (95 single and double rooms, 16 junior suites and 1 presidential suite). Some of the rooms are "oxygen enriched" where oxygen is pumped into the room to help visitors acclimatize to the high altitude (extra surcharge). This top quality hotel stands in the historical centre of the city, only 2 blocks away from the Plaza de Armas (main square). Conserving its original infrastructure, its decor is typical of the colonial period. There are several patios, a chapel embellished with gold leaf and paintings belonging to the Cusco school, as well as a restaurant, bar and cafeteria. The hotel is a member of the 'Leading Hotels of the World'
