Description:

The hotel Colomba is a beautiful old hacienda with accommodation in bungalows set in large and pleasant gardens full of plants. It is located in a quiet safe residential area on the outskirts of Huaraz (about a 15 minute walk to the main plaza), making it a great place to get away from it all and relax in the mountain air. Lucho & Sylvana Maguina, the Peruvian-Argentine owners who run the hotel are extremely friendly and can help you with making tour and trekking arrangements.

Your Comments:

"... everyone at Hotel Colomba was very friendly and more than helpful. The rooms are very clean and we could recommend them to other visitors to Huaraz. The owners also arranged several tours for us and organized our bus tickets. All visitors to Peru should visit the Cordillera Blanca ... it is very beautiful, quiet and relaxing." - Sue and Jeremy Salway, Bristol, England August 2002
