Description

A complex of three bungalows and camping grounds located at 3712m above sea level up in the mountains behind Huaraz (between the Cojup and Quilcayhuanca valley). The lodge is operated by Alex and Bruni, a friendly couple from the UK who envisioned an alternative lifestyle went about building a dream up in the Andes, away from it all. As you can imagine the lodge offers fantastic views of the Cordillera Blanca and is a great place to spend a few days acclimatising to the altitude before starting a climbing expedition or a longer trek. There are plenty of activities offered at the lodge to keep you happy including several day hikes, mountain biking, and climbing. Accommodation ranges from bunks in the "cave" bungalow to more luxury rooms in the central bungalow. Camping is also permitted on the grassy terraces.

"Friendly folk ... treks and trails you can do right from the front door ... Flintstone-esque cave rooms .. deluxe, well appointed bungalows with fireplaces" - Lonely Planet Peru
