Prices listed below are in US$ and are per room, not per person. Overseas tourists are exempt from paying the 19% sales tax which is usually included in the price of the room. However, in order to obtain this discount you will be asked to provide a photocopy of your passport and entrance stamp. A hotel has a restaurant while a hostal doesn't. Apart from that there is very little difference. The prices in this web site are to be used as a guide only. Please check current prices with the hotel when enquiring about room availability. A singe room is known as a "simple", a room with two single beds is known as a "doble" and a room with one large double bed for two people is known as a "matrimonial". |
