Description:

Hostal Torreblanca is located in Miraflores, surrounded by parks and gardens, 100 meters away from the beaches of Costa Verde with a nice view of the Pacific Ocean. It is 10 blocks away from the main commercial and financial area. The staff are helpful and the hostal is spacious and clean. There are 20 rooms altogether made up of singles, doubles, triples and 2 suites.

My guide book said that the airport pick-up was included in the price of the room, when I arrived they wanted to charge me an extra US$15 !! Our room was very noisy with traffic outside until about 3am - the hotel is situated right on the corner of a main junction - take earplugs. The room itself was satisfactory with clean linen and towels, but nothing special. There was a TV in the room. The food in the hotel restaurant was good and breakfast was substantial and included in the price. It took us about 30 minutes to walk to Parque Kennedy which is the centre of Miraflores where you can find all the shops, bars and restaurants. I'm sure that there must be better hotels in Lima for this price.
