Description:
Conveniently located right in the corner of the main square, Hostal Pisac is owned by Roman Vizcarra and Fielding Wood-Vizcarra, a Peruvian-American couple. This is one of the best and friendliest options in town. The decor is warm and cozy with hand-painted bright murals on the outside wall, an attractive courtyard filled with flowers, and even a rock-heated underground sauna (US$10 for up to 4 persons). The rooms are clean and tidy with nice bright bedcovers and Andean textiles on the walls. They also run an excellent cafe and restaurant which sells home-made meals and good pizzas from a wood-burning oven. Roman speaks Spanish, Quechua, English, Italian and German and runs a small tour company that offers guided tours of the surrounding area with an emphasis on combining culture and spirituality.
