Tourist Exchange Rates
(updated 17 May 2013):
1USD = 2.62 Soles
This
is the best rate offered in the Casas de Cambio (money exchange
houses) along Avenida Sol in Cusco. You will get a much lower rate
if you change your money at the airports, banks or change travellers
cheques.
See our webpage
Peru Currency for
images of the Peruvian Nuevos Soles notes and information about how
to detect counterfeit bills. This page is well worth spending a
few minutes reading and may help you to save a lot of money during
your visit to Peru. |
