Llama Travel is a travel company specializing exclusively in holidays to Peru. The manager Luca Newbold worked as a guide in Peru for several years before setting up the company in 2002 with former managing director of Thomson Holidays. Llama Travel is included in this guide because it offers good value for money - the price of many of their tours are the same as if you booked the flights, accommodation and excursions separately on the internet. In fact the most basic of their tours include just the accommodation, hotel transfers and international and domestic flights. You can purchase the day tours, treks etc separately either with Llama Travel or directly with the various Peruvian tour operators making it a great option for the more independent traveller who requires the security of at least having the flights and accommodation booked.
