In the following pages we've included information about some of the best hostals and hotels in Peru. We have visited 90% of the accommodation listed in this guide ourselves and the other hotels come highly recommended from other travellers that we've met.
Our intention at Andean Travel Web is to visit every hotel in our web site at least once every 6 months to ensure that their standards remain high and our information remains up-to-date.
Our recommendations are based on hotel cleanliness, friendliness, location, security and price (not necessarily in that order). We have not taken into account quality of their web site (if they have one) or response time to answering e-mails which, on the whole, is usually quite poor but improving all the time.

If you are coming to Cusco please bring a couple of second hand clothes, toys, school equipment and drop them off in our office. We will help distribute the items to people who really need them in small village schools and communities in the Andes.
